The V (formerly Tango) is a step forward in the evolution of box-ruled high performance superyachts, benefitting from the previous experience of these incredible cruiser-racers.
V (formerly Tango) features a cutting-edge deck layout combining the flush-deck-with-bulwark concept introduced in Esense, with the ramp deck of the racer Maxi 72 Alegre.
The innovative design is developed to house the comfortable interiors in the most efficient way possible, while providing a deck that is easy to operate on
.
The design is optimized to reduce structural weight, improve hull stiffness, and centralize machinery weight to reduce pitching inertia.
The hull shape provides for low drag in light wind and increased stability in windy conditions, which makes the V (formerly Tango) extremely versatile
"Thanks to our high-quality production processes," noted Marcello Persico, CEO of Persico Marine, "we have been able to optimize the yacht's weight and stay true to the Wally spirit, while complying with the box-rule limitations".
"Pininfarina and the sea have a long relationship that, over the years, has produced seafaring jewels combining elegance and performance," affirmed Paolo Pininfarina, chairman of Pininfarina.
"The V (formerly Tango) is a new extraordinary chapter in our long history."
"The international jury of the 25th ADI Golden Compass Award gives prestigious Honourable Mention to the yacht V (formerly Tango) built at Persico Marine.
