FIBER PLACEMENT MACHINE
Supplied by Coriolis was configured by Persico Marine in conjunction with the technical team of Coriolis to better service our custom parts production activities.
We are able to laminate not only the flat internal structures of the yachts, but also decks, hull sections and of course their foils and fairing.
This is a game changes for so many reasons and in particular engineering the laminates to be more structural efficient that was perceived to be labour intensive is now just a press of the bottom for the “Fiber placement Machine”.
No laminating with plastic and a heavy reduction of debulking so we have managed to reduce our carbon footprint ten folds in the process.
We are very happy with this addition of Lola into our team.
